Are you customer-oriented, representative and do you know Suriname like the back of your hand? Then we are looking for you! For our expansion in Suriname, Blue Bird Tours & Travel is looking for motivated taxi drivers for a freelance collaboration.
Blue Bird Tours & Travel provides unique trips and transfers in Suriname. We pick up our guests from the airport and bring them safely to their lodgings and tours. Hospitality, reliability and comfort are central.
As a driver, you are the calling card of our company and you ensure that international guests arrive safely and comfortably at their destination.
What will you do?
- Pick-up and drop-off of tourists (airport & hotels)
- Transfers for tours and excursions
- Ensuring that guests are transported safely and friendly
- Basic check of vehicle and cleanliness
- Collaborate with guides and planning team
- Contributing to a perfect guest experience
What do we ask?
- Customer-friendly, representative and reliable
- Good knowledge of Suriname and routes
- Driving license B
- Private car (for option 2) or vehicle access
- Flexible deployment
- Responsible and service-oriented
Important conditions vehicle (optional use)
- Car must be presentable and clean
- Air conditioning is highly recommended
- Safe and technically sound
- Suitable for tourist transport of guests
You can work in two ways within this position:
🟢 Option 1: With taxi license (commercial transport)
- You have a valid taxi license or commercial transport right
- You drive completely according to the official regulations
- You will be deployed on airport transfers and tours
👉 Advantage: more trips and immediate deployment
🟡 Option 2: Without a taxi license (private vehicle)
- You use your own representative and neat car
- Your vehicle must be clean, comfortable and well-maintained
- We arrange and reimburse the deployment through our company
- If necessary, we support you in applying for a taxi license
👉 Condition: car must be suitable for tourist transport
Reimbursements & Vehicle Regulations
- Market-based hourly wage: SRD 180 – 300 per hour (depending on experience)
- You can keep 💰 the tip entirely yourself
- Petrol costs are reimbursed ⛽ by us

- When using your own car, an additional vehicle allowance can be discussed
